It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donna Guthrie of Oak Ridge, Tennessee, born in Rose Hill, Virginia, who passed away on December 27, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Arch Seale and Grace Davis Seale (Charles Guthrie); her brother David Seale; and her son Keith Guthrie. She is survived by: her children, Todd Guthrie (Cheryl), Cliff Guthrie (Marilyn) and Dena Poston (Daniel); her daughter-in-law Jennifer Guthrie; her grandchildren, Alex (Stephanie), Matthew (Anna), Lauren (Bobby), Joshua, Megan, Jordan, David and John; her stepgrandson Chad; her great grandchildren, Cooper and Theodore; her sister-in-law Peggy Seale; her niece Julie Gregg; her nephew Ryan Seale (Ashley); and her brother-in-law Bill Guthrie (Janet).
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM at the Calvary Baptist Church of Oak Ridge (163 N Jefferson Cir, Oak Ridge, TN 37830). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 6:45 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Sunday, January 5th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Silver Leaf Baptist Church Cemetery (2716 Old Nursery Rd, Rose Hill, VA 24281).
