It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Dennis Wyckoff Vroom of Oak Ridge, Tennessee, born in Lakeland, Florida, who passed away on January 16, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Quinby Vroom and Dorothy Bush Vroom. He is survived by: his wife Mary McGill Vroom of Oak Ridge, Tennessee.; his sons, Dennis Q. Vroom (Donna) of Westerville and James E. Vroom (Kim) of Soddy Daisy; his grandchildren, Denny and Carly; his siblings-in-law, Johnny Brooks of Oak Ridge and Jeanne Marshburn (Charles) of Columbia; and also Dr. Fred Q. Vroom (Peggy) of Washington, D. C.. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Hamilton Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.
