William Pointer Obituary
We are sad to announce that on May 16, 2019, at the age of 86, William Pointer of Norris, Tennessee, born in Anderson, South Carolina passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of William Pointer to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Cora Pointer and James Pointer; his siblings, Herschel Marcus Pointer, Joyce Jeanette Pointer Housley and Brenda Lee Pointer Wilson; and his daughters, Mary Riggs Gibson (Fred) and Vicki Lynne Pointer.
He is survived by: his significant other Bobbye Lynne Watts; his siblings, Rachel Ann Pointer Paul (Earl) of Indianapolis, Indiana, James Raymond Pointer (Patricia) of Kokomo, Indiana and Sandra Mae Pointer Steiner (Clifford) of Huntsville, Texas; his sister-in-law Shirley Ann Watts Beck (Harry) of Clearwater, Florida.; and his daughters, Lorri Johnson (Junior) of Norris and Carolyn Neil (Rodney) of Knoxville, Tennessee. He is also survived by 25 grandchildren with their spouses; 29 great-grandchildren; and numerous extended family.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made with a donation to Norris First Baptist Church to be dispersed to one or more of the programs Marion supported.
