He was predeceased by: his father William Duffy Howell. He is survived by: his mother Emma Lee Game Howell; his wife Patty Lynn Dye Howell; his daughters, Ashley Lynn (Kinley Prince) of Greenville, S. C., Emily Brooke (Erik Willis) of Williamsburg, KY and Caitlyn Hope Howell of Williamsburg, KY; and his siblings, Bonnie Davis (Frank) of Goldsboro, NC, Cova Marie Gardner (David) of Goldsboro, NC and Robert "Bob" Pendergraft (Kim) of Wake Forest, NC. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
