It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Van Allen Kimbro Jr. of Normandy, Tennessee, who passed away on November 28, 2022, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his wife Carole Biles Kimbro; his daughter Kathleen Boone (Joshua); his grandsons, Hunter Boone (Cloey), Pyke Boone and Finnley Boone; his great grandchild Koda Boone; and his sister Kay Griner (Philip).

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Normandy Volunteer, Fire Department or Normandy Methodist Church.

“In loving memory of Van Allen Kimbro Jr., I was fortunate enough to meet Carole and Allen Kimbro while visiting with my friend Becky Kimbro Barber at her cousin Judy’s (the Kimbro farm). Allen and Carole could not have been sweeter to me, taking us to dinner in an old jail! I am blessed to have met and befriended these folks.
