It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas Arthur Nevel of Normandy, Tennessee, born in Altoona, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 19, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father James Arthur; his wife Ruth Crockett Nevel; and his brother Jake Nevel. He is survived by: his close friend Linda Jernigan; his daughters, Kim Heaven of Normandy and Gena Hall of Estill Springs; his siblings, Paul Nevel (Betty) and Myra Sue Simmers of Altoona, Pennsylvania; his granddaughters, Haley Alexander (Josh) and Megan Heaven; and his great grandchildren, Greyson Alexander, Denver Alexander and Fischer Alexander.
Mr. Nevel would be honored with memorials made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, or the charity of your choice.
