She was predeceased by: her father Benjamin Brown; and her brother James Ishmael (Brown). She is survived by: her mother Patricia Nafe Brown; her husband James "Jimmy" Evans; her children, Jennifer Spry (Tyler), Danny Evans (Ariel) and Jamie Gilmer (Witny); her grandsons, Lucas and Landon Evans; and her daughter Mary Claire Spry.
