It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Clay Hopwood of Normandy, Tennessee, born in Sheffield, Alabama, who passed away on April 14, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Otis Hopwood and Ethel Marie Anderson Hopwood; and his siblings, Patsy Whited and Jimmy Hopwood. He is survived by: his wife Marie Raxter Hopwood; his children, John Hopwood (Angela) and Heather Renninger (Brian); and his grandchildren, Jacob, Lena, Bianca, Kayla, Justin, Joe and Tyler. He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren; one niece, and several nephews.
