He is survived by: his friend Stella Louise Brown of Shelbyville, TN; his children, Roy Brown (Janice), John Brown (Teresa), Joseph Bump Brown (La Fonda) of Shelbyville, TN, Rochelle and Beverly Hall of Shelbyville, TN; his siblings, Sam Johnson of Dawson, GA, Frank, Danny Johnson of Shelbyville, TN, Michael Johnson of Lewisburg, TN, Doris Johnson of Normandy, TN and Onetta McGear (Rickey) of Shelbyville, TN; and his great grandchild Shilaya Tidwell. He is also survived by four grandchildren and nine other great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mt. Zion Haley Church (2781 US-41A, Shelbyville, TN 37160). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
