He is survived by: his children, Rebecca Horn of Normandy, Kelly Walker (Harry) of Estill Springs, Scott Wyatt of Phoenix, AZ, Michelle Malmstrom (Henrik) of Tullahoma, Renee Reed of Normandy and Christopher Bates (Heather); his siblings, Jimmie Bates, Everett Bates, Jean Riddle, Marilyn Drake and Judy Brown; and his close friend Margaret Cyree. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren and a great great grandchild.
