She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Thronberry and Edna Glenn Boswell Thronberry; her husband Rod Smithson; her son Anthony Kent Martin; and her brother Terry Thronberry.

She is survived by: her children, Scott Spray, Patrick Thompson, Tracey Bush, Lisa Spray and Donna Thompson; her sister Sharron Swan; and her grandchildren, Madison Kilby, Mason Kilby, Misti Kilby, Brantley Thompson and Shealynn Faith Thompson.
