She was predeceased by: her husband Lanny B. McGowan, Sr.; and her brother Newton G. Welch, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Mary Beth Moore (Kenneth) and Lanny B. "Buddy" McGowan, Jr.; her grandsons, Russell Moore (Anna) and Andy Moore (Lauren); and her great grandchildren, Parker and Lily Moore. She is also survived by her family.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 16th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, September 17th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Woodbine Funeral Home-Hickory Chapel (5852 Nolensville Pk, Nashville, TN 37211). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 17th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
