He was predeceased by: his wife Norma Garrett Alexander; his parents, James Alexander and Mary Alice Alexander; and his brothers, Billy and Tom (Debbie Alexander).
He is survived by: his sons, Jimmy (Christine), Scott (Kelli) and Jason Alexander (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Ryne (Miranda), Matthew (Lydia), Victoria, Colby and Carly Alexander; his great grandchildren, James and Everett; his siblings, Ray (Margaret), Dan (Sue), Sandra Graves (Jerry), Bo (Linda) and Sheila Delk (William); his cousins, Kathy McGee (Eddie) and Lisa Thompson (John); his grandchildren, Ben (Jenny), Matt (Rebecca), Katherine and Emily; his great grandchildren, Dansby and Rylee; and also Janice Green. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
