He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Brakebill and Allie Brakebill; his granddaughter Rachel Lynn Holtz; his stepdaughter Carolyn June Carter Stringfield; and his stepgrandson Joseph B. Stringfield.
He is survived by: his wife Eunice Brakebill; his children, Bobby Joseph Brakebill, Mary Yvette Brakebill Yates, Shannon Dawn Holtz and Michael David Brakebill; and his brother Ronnie Dean Brakebill. He is also survived by numerous other extended family members and a host of special friends.
