He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin James Hogan and Vivian Jewel Hogan (Hudson); his wife Dorothy "Dottie" McCulley Hogan; and his daughter Penny Self Green. He is survived by: his children, Sarah Hogan, Rhonda Armstrong and Gene Hogan. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
