He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Starr and Virginia Breakiron Calahan; his wife Jeanette Calahan; his son Robert Calahan, Jr.; and his siblings, Marie, Dorothy, Laura, Ralph Calahan and Charles David Calahan.
He is survived by: his son David Calahan (Tenn) of Johnson City; his close friend Carol Bowman; his brother Teddy Calahan of Tampa, Fla.; and his grandson Robert Calahan III.
