He is survived by: his wife Judy Turner; his daughters, Alessi Turner and Missy Carpenter; his granddaughter Hailey Carpenter; and his siblings, Judy Travis (Kenneth Nix), Mary Crabtree (Randy), Pam "Lucy" Long (Ray), Maudie Mitchell (Scott), John Turner Jr. (Missy Hahn) and Rusty Turner. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.
