He is survived by: his wife Nina Newman; his sons, Gregory (Adrienne Newman) and Gary (Patricia Newman); his grandchildren, Robbie Sitzlar, Cassidy, Cale Newman, Ricky and Faith Ann Newman; and his sisters, Eva Strickland Payne of Niota and Myrtle Nix of Sweetwater. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
