With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Larry Stiner Wattenbarger of Niota, Tennessee, who passed away on November 5, 2024 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William "Bill" Wattenbarger and Josephine "Jay" Stiner Wattenbarger; his grandparents, Nina Ruth Nash Stiner and Jacob; and his sister Sandra Kay Wattenbarger Jack.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Diane Redmond Wattenbarger; his children, Melissa Wattenbarger of Niota, Marc Wattenbarger (Catherine) of Lenior City and Cody Wattenbarger (Paige) of Apison; his siblings-in-law, Darlene Gentry and Mike Redmond (Cheryl); his grandchildren, Jacob Wattenbarger (Katrina) of Knoxville, Jaden Wattenbarger of Niota, Beau, William and Margaret Wattenbarger of Apison; and his brothers, Gary Wattenbarger (Diann) of Decatur and Ed Wattenbarger (Donna) of Athens. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Decatur Funeral Home & Cremation Services (163 Arrants Rd, Decatur, TN 37322). A masonic service was held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
