He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Freeman and Julia Annalee Grindell Freeman; his wife Edna Malissa Hicks Freeman; and his siblings, Robert Freeman, Ronnie Freeman and Wanda Freeman.
He is survived by: his children, Heather Ervin (John), Adrian Schmidt (Lawrence), Kelly Moore (Jason), James Brackner (Martha) and Jay Freeman (Christi); his grandchildren, Anni, Vinny (Diana), Evan (Katrina), River, Grey (Abby), Dawson, Alyssa, Aiden, Jett, Harper, Turner, Parker, Presley, Ty, Joe (Kaley) and Robbie; his great grandchildren, Ariyah, Axel, Ace and Mason; and his siblings, Dale Hughes, Larry Freeman, Tony Freeman and Steve Freeman. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Cambria Baptist Church (305 Co Rd 875, Etowah, TN 37331). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at the Cambria Cemetery (Co Rd 875, Etowah, TN 37331).
