He was predeceased by: his parents, Elard Sherman and Georgia Ruth Crye Torbett; and his brothers, Charles Torbett, Leonard Torbett and Tommy Torbett.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy Jo Clark Torbett of Niota; his daughter Stacy Torbett; his son-in-law Robert Head of Blairsville; his son Mike (Angie Torbett); and his siblings, Glenn (Gay Torbett), Harold (Helen Torbett), Mae Moses of Englewood and Brenda (Ray Cunningham). He is also survived by 3 Grandchildren, 6 Great Grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to East Niota Baptist Church or a Parkinson's Charity of your choice in memory of Edd.
