We are sad to announce that on October 27, 2023, at the age of 79, Gerald Newton of Niota, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Estus Newton and Frances Newton; his in-laws, Clyde and Lily Jones; his brother Gene; his siblings-in-law, Nancy Newton, Gerald Turner and Vernon Merrick; and his niece Angie Fitzgerald.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Newton; his children, Pat Mason (Larry) and Ken Newton; his grandsons, Blake Mason (Shannon) and Caleb Newton; his siblings, Eddy Newton (Dianne) and Joy Runyan (Jim); and his sisters-in-law, Anna Turner, Mary Merrick and Wanda McNeese (Ron).
Family has asked that in lieu of flowers donations can be made to 1st Baptist Church of Niota.
