He is survived by: his wife Gayle Swift Fisher; his children, Felicia, Fara, Faedra, Fannessa and Fyke; his sons-in-law, Jeff, Alan and Seth; his grandchildren, Catie, Carolina, Annagayle, Charlotte, Walker and Maggie; his brother Randy; and his sister-in-law Miriam Fisher.

I tried to "check-in" with him a while ago, and should have known -- when he put me off and said he had been "under the weather" of late. What a great guy Danny was and such a good friend to me. I am blessed to have enjoyed his friendship. We all has such great memories. My sincere condolences to his wonderful family and especially to his wife, Gayle.”
