He is survived by: his wife Margie Frisbie Burns; his children, Mike Burns (Michelle) of Niota and Susan Coldwell (Doyle) of Riceville; his grandchildren, Amanda Jordan (Matthew) of Florida, Lindsay Patterson (Tyson) of Benton, Trevor Burns (Krista) of Athens and Hannah Burns of Niota; and his great grandchildren, Tucker Patterson and Tenley Burns.
