He was predeceased by: his parents, Ed Walden and Mae Walden; and his brother Cliff Walden. He is survived by: his brother Nick Walden; his wife Joann Strickland Walden; his children, Diane (Rex King), Darrell (Sandra Walden), Brenda Walden of Sweetwater and Barry (Heather Walden); his grandchildren, Kayla, Terry Ledford of Athens, Kevin King of Niota, Justin Walden of Nashville, Christina Walden, Luke Walden and Isaiah Walden of Niota; and his siblings, Eddie Walden of Niota, Troy (Margaret Walden) of Niota, David (Martha Walden) of Niota, Mike Walden of Niota and Lee Johnson of Englewood. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
