He was predeceased by: his wife Brenda Russell Oody; his parents, Andrew Oody and Fannie Oody; his parents-in-law, Scott and Nancy Russell; and his siblings, Frances Brooks (Alton), Lucy Mae Oody, Charles Oody and James Oody.
He is survived by: his daughters, Nancy Martin (Ricky) of Newport, Carol Cody (Bobby) of Newport and Linda Lunsford of Newport; his grandchildren, Nick Martin, Rachel Reece (Brad), Kristin Holt (Josh), Dillon Martin (Ashley), Sarah Cody (Jordan Cashen), Bobby Jordan Cody (Summer) and Aaron Lunsford; his brothers, Harley Oody (Ellen) and Jack Oody (Mary); his mother-in-law Alice Russell; his siblings-in-law, Scarlet Moser (Peter), Pam Jones (Reuben), Carolyn Plemons (Leroy) and Wally Akins (Ashley); and his friends, Charles McNabb, Terry Hux and Doyle Pruett. He is also survived by 8 great- grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins.
