He was predeceased by: his parents, Hazel Rossman (Harry) and Lawrence Irwin (Blanch); his brother Jim Irwin; his son William S. Irwin Jr.; his daughter-in-law Vickie Irwin; and his grandchildren, Kayle Robinson, Gary Jo Irwin, Anna Breland and Randall Breland.
He is survived by: his wife Rose Irwin; his sons, Michael Irwin Sr. and James Clark (Erik Landrum); his daughter-in-law Karen Irwin; his grandchildren, Charles Cuffman, Michael Irwin Jr. (Emily Grace Irwin), Zachary Guzzman (Charles Guzzman), Caleb Irwin (Breanna Grahm), Jessica Tatum (Paul) and Nycole Hamil (Andrew); and his sisters, Beverly Adams and Mary Lou McDowell. He is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren, several other nieces, nephews, family and friends.
