He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Large and Ola Large; his brother Terry Large; and his mother-in-law Ida Dean Williams. He is survived by: his wife Marsha Large; his daughters, Brandi Shoemaker (Ray) and Jodi Ellison (Tip); his grandchildren, Alex Shoemaker, Sadee Wallin (Nick) and Jacob Ellison (Faith); his great grandchild Liam Wallin; and his sisters, Carolyn Proffitt (Darrell) and Geraldine Ellison (Johnny). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and other family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Manes Funeral Home Chapel (363 E Main St, Newport, TN 37821). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Union Cemetery (420 Mineral St, Newport, TN 37821-3900).
