It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Tilda M. Stokely (Newport, Tennessee), who passed away on May 29, 2019, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Charles "Speedy" Stokely; her parents, George Shelton and Ethel Shelton; her son Ronald Stokely; and her siblings, Eldridge, Harvey, Howard Lee, Junior and Retha Frazier.
She is survived by: her children, Eugene Stokely (Donna) of Newport and Janice Marie Stokely; and her sisters, Lorene Gentry of Newport, Vera Frazier of Newport, Vergie Brown of Newport and Edith Saylor of Newport. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren and one great- great grandchild; also other family and friends.
