It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas Jay Carpenter of Newport, Tennessee, who passed away on October 23, 2023, at the age of 51, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his son Jordon Thomas-Carl Carpenter; and his father Thomas Lee Carpenter. He is survived by: his significant other Brandy Lynn Carpenter; his son Jacob "Hoover" Carpenter (Autumn Bible); his daughter-in-law Kira Duncan; his granddaughters, Kiari Mae Carpenter, Swayze Jean Carpenter and Kapri Brockwell; his mother Karen Carpenter; his sister Julie South (Evert) of Michigan; and his parents-in-law, Catherine Harmon of Newport and Carl Harmon of Michigan.
