He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Large and Louise Large; and his grandparents, Henry, Jessie James, Scott Large and Unav Perryman.
He is survived by: his wife Joy Large; his son Jeff Large (Tracy) of Newport; his granddaughter Landan Large of Sevierville; his stepgrandchildren, Kelly Laws (Jessica) of Spartanburg, SC, Steven Laws and Whitney Laws of Newport; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Talia Laws of Spartanburg, SC, Tyson of Newport, Brayden of Newport and Maddox Laws of Newport; his sister Sharon Smith of Newport; his nephews, Andy Austin (Amy), Scotty Large (Jennifer), Todd Smith (Kayla) and Corey Smith (April Hall); his niece Emily Ellison; his great-niece Alexa Austin; and his siblings-in-law, Jabo Francis (Tammy), Patricia Ellison (Eric) and Susie O'Dell (Lewis Everhart) of Newport. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins.
The family requests that masks must be worn to graveside service and please practice safe social distancing.
