With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sherrel Edwin Ottinger (Newport, Tennessee), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 19, 2024 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Mabel Ottinger; his brother Junior Ottinger (Frankie); and his son Timmy Ottinger. He is survived by: his wife Annette Ottinger; his son Mike; his daughter-in-law Peggy Ottinger; his daughter Cheryl Ann; his son-in-law Wade Lang; his grandchildren, Chelsea Shapiro (Alex) and Casie Bellamy (Clinton); his great grandchildren, Beau Shapiro, Lorelai Shapiro and Clover Bellamy; and his brother Dale Ottinger (Bindy). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Long Creek Christian Church.
