She was predeceased by: her parents, Sanford "Barney" Barnes and Helen Clark; and her siblings, Sanford Barnes, Jr., Sylvia Vosburg and Sheila Barnes Jones.
She is survived by: her son Sanford Joseph Pemberton of Newport; her granddaughter Olivia Rena Pemberton; and her sisters, Shirley Howard (Larry) of New Market and Selma Judy Parham of Weaverville. She is also survived by her many nieces; as well as other family and friends.
