The memory of Sandra Cashen Strom Jenkins of Newport, Tennessee, who passed away on February 1, 2025 at the age of 65, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Margaret Strom and Dee Strom; her grandparents, Robert, Louvanchia Cashen, Hubert and Florence Mabe Strom; her sister Linda Cutshall; and her siblings-in-law, Penny Strom and Bobby Fisher.
She is survived by: her husband Charles "Mike" Jenkins; her niece Charley Elizabeth Grace; her children, John Jenkins of Maryland, Michele of Maryland and Jay Sessoms of Maryland; her grandchildren, Kenny Jenkins, Elizabeth O'dea (Jean), Michaela Jenkins Sessoms, Victoria "Tori" Sessoms, James Jenkins and Andra Lyn Brown; her great grandchild Samiya O'dea; her close friends, Jeff Strom, Terry Strom (Tracy), Angie Jenkins (Dennis Nelson) and Debbie Fisher; and her brother-in-law R. J. Cutshall. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and two great-great nieces.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Manes Funeral Home (363 E Main St, Newport, TN 37821). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Manes Funeral Home Chapel (363 E Main St, Newport, TN 37821).
Per Sandra's Request, in lieu of flowers donations be made for Charley's College Fund to Charles (Mike) Jenkins or Angie Jenkins.
