She was predeceased by: her husband Ruel Eslinger; her parents, Charlie Hartsell and Nannie Sauls Hartsell; and her siblings, Ernest, Bill Hartsell, Rose Hartsell, Elizabeth Crumbley and Maudella Stinnett.

She is survived by: her children, Eugene Eslinger (Debbie), Jeff Eslinger (Kelly Ailey), Shirley Johnson (Joe), Brenda Byrd (Andrew) and Linda Smith (Steve); her sisters, Betty Dunn, Dorothy Hickey and Mary Lindsey; her sister-in-law Sarah Mae Hartsell; her grandchildren, Eddie Johnson (Linda), Jessica Ratcliff (Paul), Carrie Webb (Brad) and Travis Eslinger (Jessica); her great grandchildren, Taylor, Sara Ratcliff, Harley and Daniel Eslinger; and her close friends, Steve, Jana Johnson, Charlie Mason, Scott Thornton and Matthew Woody.
