He was predeceased by: his parents, Ulyss Buckner and Gladys Buckner; and his brother Arthur Lee Buckner. He is survived by: his wife Violet Buckner; his children, Bryan Buckner, Robin Allen (Carlos), Crystal McNabb (Hassan) and Mark Buckner; his grandchildren, Korian Buckner, Thomas Allen and Annaleece McNabb; and his siblings, Ruby Shropshire and Ricky Buckner. He is also survived by several great grandchildren.
