He is survived by: his wife Essie Burgin of Newport; his son Kenney Burgin (Megan) of Del Rio; his sister Shirley Woody of Texas; and his granddaughter Lois Higginbotham of Greeneville. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.
