He was predeceased by: his parents, John Southerland and Kathleen Southerland; and his parents-in-law, Garland and Gorgia Huskey. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Southerland; his sons, Bryan Southerland (Kristy) and Jonathan Southerland (Marsha); his grandchildren, Bethany, Kaylie, Jaylyn, Lee (Michelle) and Dalton; and his great grandchildren, Isiah and Eivor.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 9th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Manes Funeral Home (363 E Main St, Newport, TN 37821). A funeral service was held on Sunday, February 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Manes Funeral Home Chapel (363 E Main St, Newport, TN 37821). A burial was held on Sunday, February 9th 2025 at the New Home Cemetery (2350 Holt Town Rd, Newport, TN 37821).
