She was predeceased by: her sister Marie; and her brother-in-law Leonard Myers. She is survived by: her daughter Shauna C. Caughron; her granddaughter Audrina L. Velez; her great grandchild Natalee-Ann Marie Velez; her son Rodney Mathis (Angie); and her siblings, Harold, Freddy Caughron, Jay Gunter (Velma), Jeffery Gunter (Gail), Betty Dockery (Jim), Louise Brown (Alfred Stuart), Dwaina Dunn and Shirley Hurst. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
