He is survived by: his wife Melba Greene Kilpatrick; his daughter Jessica; his grandson Davis Kilpatrick Wampler; his sister Linda Davis (Larry); his sister-in-law Elizabeth Kilpatrick; and his close friends, Greg Wampler and J. A. "Chopper" Phillips (Johnnie Sue). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
