We bid farewell to Michael Hill of Newport, Tennessee, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 11, 2025 at the age of 53. Michael touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his father Donald Hill; and his grandparents, Arlis, Jonita Ball and John. He is survived by: his mother Virgie Wallin of Newport; his children, Joseph Hill of Knoxville, Brittany Black (Steve) of Newport and Samantha Hill of Jefferson City; his grandchildren, Isaac Black, Jesse Black, Elisabeth Black and Sarah Black; his sisters, Aleshia Hembree (Danny) of Newport and Amanda Strange (Jeremy) of Del Rio; and his nieces and nephews, Logan Stuart, Lexie Stuart, Hannah Strange and Cody Strange. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nephews, other family members, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 13th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Manes Funeral Home (363 E Main St, Newport, TN 37821). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, April 13th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Manes Funeral Home Chapel (363 E Main St, Newport, TN 37821). A burial will be held on Monday, April 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Rankin Hill Cemetery.
