He is survived by: his wife Diana Wolfenbarger Whitten; his children, Terry Whitten, Pam Sluder, Tammy Kennedy (Rick Massagee), Tony Whittten, Lisa Whitten of Ky, Tracy Whitten of Knoxville, Eugene Barnard, Donna Barnard of New Market, Cynthia Marcum (Wayne Clark) of Newport, Timothy Goben and Deborah Goben; his grandchildren, Miranda Evans, Jamie Sluder, Elijah Ramsey, Casey Kennedy Keck, Sasha Kennedy, Shane Kennedy, McKenzie Massagee, Robyn Whitten, Taylor Whitten, Ava Ray Whitten, Hunter Webb, Lauren Barnard, Joshua Woods, Ashley Norton, William Hillard, Haley Goben and Easton Goben; his great grandchildren, Noah Shell, Jayla Sluder, Tori Wright, Maelee Ogle, Kennedy Keck, Jaden Cambron, Gavin Houser, Atlas Burch, Odin Kennedy, Kimberlynn Whitten, Keegan Whitten, Mackenzie Brooks, Emma Brooks and William Hillard; and his niece Eva Smith Raines.
