She was predeceased by: her husband Lee R. "Buck" Brown; her parents, Cecil Mason and Bessie Nease Mason; her brothers, Hollis Mason (Clydia B.), R. T. Mason and Arlie C. "Pepsi" Mason; her sister-in-law Annette Mason; and her niece Dennie Mason Ottinger.
She is survived by: her son Carroll Lee Brown; her grandsons, Dillon, Dakota and Derrick Brown; her sisters, Evelyn Mason Rhodes and Patsy Hooper (Ben); her sister-in-law Ethel Hudson Mason; and her nieces and nephews, Diane Mason Rice (Tim), Holly Mason Ramsey (Randy), Patty Mason McDonough (Al), Tammy Mason Gorrell (Scottie), Eddie Rhodes (Paige), Chris Rhodes (Tracy), Heath Rhodes (Haley), Tippy, Jeffery, Jimmy Mason, Ben Hooper, III (Lucy), Julie Hooper Kyker and Esther "Macy" Hooper Layman (Scott).
