She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Hicks and Addie Kate Hicks; her son Steve Valentine; and her siblings, John Brown Hicks of Robert, Junior Hicks, Jimmy Hicks, Anna Mae Cole and Stella Allen.
She is survived by: her daughters, Debbie Bridges and Linda Henderson (Dennis); her siblings, Virginia Shults and George Ray Hicks (Jenny); her granddaughter Shannon Bridges (Chad Jarnagin); her great grandchildren, Kaytlyn and Sophia Thompson; her nieces and nephews, Betty Whitson, Rita Messer (Mike Compton), Chris Shepherd (Miranda), Krisley, Maliah, Easton and Sawyer Shepherd; and her close friends, Ashley, Tammy, Gomer Gray, Cooper Harris, Rochelle Kyker, Judi Chobanian, Virginia Blazer, Kenny McMahan, Donna Mooneyham, Rhonda Rice, Shayne Watts, Neighbors, Evelyn, Hannah Leatherwood and Cade.
