We bid farewell to Margie Linda Galloway of Newport, Tennessee, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 9, 2024 at the age of 74. Margie touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Phillip Smathers and Nellie Conard Smathers; her children, Elizabeth Ann, Timothy David and Michael Bradley; her stepdaughter Janet Nichols; and her siblings, Bill, Ray, Charlie, Wayne Smathers, Vicki Smathers, Mae Whitner and Faye Morgan.
She is survived by: her husband Roy Galloway; her sons, Ronnie Bradley (Robin) and Steve Bradley (Kerri); her stepchildren, Randy, Scott and Tammy; her siblings, Marie Palmer, Judy Williamson, Scott Rollins (Carol) and Mark Smathers (Tammy); her grandchildren, James Galloway, Spencer Bradley, Michael Bradley, Mark Bradley, Colby Gibbs, Jovi Nichols, Jake Nichols, Jason Tramper, Elizabeth Bradley, Brynne Acosta and Paige Clark; and her great grandchildren, Timothy Bradley, Braylin Nichols and Keaton Nichols. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and other family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Hyatt Creek Freewill Baptist Church (128 Page Rd, Waynesville, NC 28786). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
