Lonnie Layman Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lonnie Layman of Newport, Tennessee, who passed away on November 27, 2021 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, D. J. Layman and Artie Mae Layman; and his siblings, Almeda Thornton (Roy), G. L. Layman (Anna Mae), Lela Hill (Thomas), Conard Layman and Oras Sears Layman.
He is survived by: his children, Antoinette Combs (Paul), Vanessa Bennett and Eric Layman; his grandchildren, David Combs and Heather Williams (Wade); his great grandchildren, Haddlee, McKynlee and Maverick Williams; and his sister Glenda Mae McCoig (Fred). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In recognition of the continuing pandemic, masks and social distancing are encouraged for those in attendance.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cemetery Fund at Birchfield Memorial Church.
