It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lila K. Simmons (Newport, Tennessee), who passed away on December 15, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Lila departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Lila. Though Lila may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Roland Keen and Elizabeth Keen; and her siblings, Roland Keen Jr. and Elizabeth Moyer. She is survived by: her daughters, Nancy Smith and Stephanie Smith; and her grandchildren, Justin Smith (Robin), John Hall, Victoria Cotto, Jamie Hall, Jordan Hall and Jacqueline Hall. She is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren.
