It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Laura Cotheran of Newport, Tennessee, who passed away on July 6, 2021, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Fairdy Cotheran; her parents, Zenus Harvey and Nina Mae Harvey; and her siblings, Zina Frazier, Wanda Owenby, Silvanus Harvey, Dale Harvey (Nupe), Hansel Harvey and Harold Harvey.
She is survived by: her children, LaUna Cagle (Fred) and Melvin Cotheran (Irene); her grandchildren, Missy Norwood (Glen), Amy Norwood (Chad) and Hope Turner (Gene); and her great grandchildren, Daniel, Faith Turner and Haley Norwood.
