Larry R. Evans Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Larry R. Evans (Newport, Tennessee), who passed away on October 11, 2019 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Evans and Tincy Evans. He is survived by: his wife Velma Costner Evans of Newport; his son Charles "Chucky" Evans (Amy) of Newport; his grandchildren, Elizabeth Long (Saxton) of Knoxville and Charles "Charlie" Evans (Alee Chrisman) of Newport; his son Lee Dillivan of North Carolina; his sisters, Dorothy Williamson (Jimmy) of Cosby and Louise McGaha of Cosby; and his sisters-in-law, Varnell Gorenflo (Jerry) of Newport, Vondie Costner (Shirley) of Cosby and Valerie Costner of Cosby. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to English Creek Baptist Church, P. O. Box 1110, Newport, TN 37822.
