She was predeceased by: her parents, Mildred Marshall and Billy Marshall. She is survived by: her husband Tom Berger; her children, Lauren Kelley Berger and John Thomas Berger; and her sister Carolyn Marshall of Rowlett, Texas..

Even amid the pandemic, she kept the mission open three days a week.
